DESCRIPTION

Luciano Pavarotti, son of a baker in the Italian comune of Modena, liked to describe himself as a simple man. Even when he became the most popular classical music star in the world, he never stopped seeing himself as someone ordinary, touched with an extraordinary gift. Pavarotti changed the opera from elite to egalitarian culture. In subsequent film shots, many of which have not been presented before, there are intimate interviews with a family, closest friends and co-workers and rare recordings of a genius tenor.
